Lisa M. Esposito, Ph.D.
Resilience
For over 15 years Dr. Esposito was a professor of philosophy and ethics at Drury, and served in both division and department chair positions. She retired in 2014 to paint full time after having started painting as an 'outsider' artist while on sabbatical in 2005. Esposito's work is best described in her own words from her website: "My paintings consist of vibrant, saturated colors and abstract images inspired by early 20th c. Abstract Expressionism as well as Buddhism, Taoism, and New England Transcendentalism." Dr. Esposito lives and paints full time near Houston TX.
